The Marketing Roadmap

When it comes to achieving objectives, whether it’s increasing Medicare admissions or addressing the unique challenges facing CCRCs, the way to get to the right solution is to focus on the right issues. But how can you be sure the issues you’ve targeted are really the right ones?

We believe that questions are the answer. That’s what our The Marketing Roadmap is all about. Insightful questions. Intelligent listening.  Revealing evaluations based on proprietary best practices. It’s a unique process, designed specifically to help LTC providers increase occupancy, build census, and boost revenues and profitability.

Once completed, the results are synthesized into a Business Development Report. This detailed, actionable plan provides clearly stated, objective interpretations of the findings. It separates perceptions from reality, defines needs, and identifies realistic opportunities to make the best use of your resources to deliver improved performance.

The Marketing Roadmap focuses on the following key issues:

DOS Identifier Analysis

A detailed internal review with senior management team members to identify key
Dangers, Opportunities and Strengths.

Market Demographics and Clinical Services Utilization

Who really are your best prospects? Where are they located? What services are in greatest demand?  Which ones are being over- or under-utilized?

Fair Market Share Analysis

Is your occupancy all that it could or should be? How does your market share measure up to government and industry data? Are your SNFs getting their fair share of Medicare admissions? This analysis will provide important insights.

Market Competition Review

Who are your competitors? What are their strengths and weaknesses? Where are the market “soft spots” and how can you capitalize on them?

Branding and Strategic Positioning Evaluation

Does your brand accurately reflect your organization’s capabilities and/or mission? Does your positioning effectively highlight your competitive advantages? If not, what should your brand image and positioning be?

Current Referral Source Performance and Patterns Analysis

Where are your referrals coming from? Are there patterns that suggest specific opportunities to increase referrals and/or improve your case mix?

Physical Plant Review

This objective report, based on a walk through of your building(s), can be an ey -opener. How well does each building present? Are there issues (some obvious and others far less so) that could and should be addressed, which would improve tours as well as the day-to-day living and working environment?

Patient and Resident Population Profiling

Results of this review of both long-term resident and short-term patient data are an important consideration in strategic planning as they provide an objective view of your current customers.

Clinical Services Review

How do you really stack up? As the business of long-term care evolves and changes, your SNF's clinical services can give you a significant competitive edge.

Resident, Patient and Staff Satisfaction Surveys

It’s no secret that how your staff, the people you care for, and the way their families feel about you, can have a significant impact on your organization’s reputation. Reviewing existing surveys (or implementing surveys as part of the audit process) helps identify opportunities for improving satisfaction and performance.
